Retro, born Sean C. La Grande, is an 18 year old aspiring Rap artist and current college student. Influenced by The Notorious B.I.G., Big L, Jay-Z, Eminem, & Nas, Retro attempts to take bits and pieces from these artists to create his own original style. Born as the son of a rapper, Retro's father, Retro Has Been Recording Over Beats Since The Age Of 5. His great interest in 90s Hip Hop and general dislike for today's sound also plays a significant role in his overall sound. Born in Brooklyn, NY & raised in Plainfield, NJ, Retro is bringing back the hype of East Coast Hip Hop. "I Hope That One Day I'll Be Given An Opportunity To Put NY & NJ On the Map Like No Other Has Ever Done Before" is what Retro said in one of his previous radio interviews; this is a quote that he adheres by until gets signed by a major record label.
